デベロッパーコミュニティサイトがありますよね。日本ではQiitaを知らないひとはエンジニアではないとも言われています（嘘ー）😌。それぐらいQiitaはエンジニアとって認知度の高いサイトです。海外ではdev.toを知らずしてエンジニアを語れないと言われているかも知れません。

Qiitaも昔は初心者向けの投稿が多かったのですが、この頃は中級レベルや上級者に向けた発信をするユーザーも増えてきて、メンターのいない自分にとってはとても大事なサイトになりつつあります。自分の場合、上流工程の経験が全然ないとくに資料作りなどは最低レベルなので、そこのレベルアップしたいなって思っています。設計を作らず開発工程ばかりしていたので、転職活動にはとても不利な気がします。ここらへんを改善できればワンランクアップした仕事につけるかも知れません。転職活動はしていませんが、一般的にはシニアエンジニアは上流工程に就いていることが多いですね。ちなみに３５歳引退説は今では何処吹く風だと思っています、現役、シニアプログラマーは結構な割合でいます。

WordPressのapply_filtersを使うと便利ですよ。

明日（2021/11/30）は高知県は雨が降るそうです、冬の雨はあまり自分は好きではないです・・・。どんより曇り空よりかはマシですけどね。

さて「WordPressのapply_filtersを使うと便利ですよ。」というお話です、有名なプラグインにはapply_filtersが大体あるので、それを使ってプラグインに自分のオリジナル処理を割り込むことが可能です。では、 apply_filtersはどんな動作をするかと言えば、独自のフィルターを登録するときに使用します。

なので、add_actionを使って登録されている独自のフィルター名を参照することで外部のプラグインに変更処理を行うこと等が可能になります。

余談：ある有名なプラグインのコードを読んでいて、自分がプラグインを作るときにもapply_filtersなどを記載しておくと開発者に使用していただける確率は高くなるなと感じました。

YAGNI（ヤグニ）の法則とはYou Aren’t Going to Need it.の略で
日本語に訳すと「余計な機能を付けるな！」という意味になります。

IT関係者なら聞いたことがあるかもしれない、プログラミングで後々使うかもしれないから、この機能も眠らして置こうと思って置いているコードは1割ぐらい確率でしか使わないから余計なプログラミングコードは書かない方が良いよと言うことであってますかね🤔。
